Saturday was a very sad day in our household…..
I woke up at 9am and cooked myself some toast. I realised all that was left was the crusts and headed to Bubbles (my rat) bedroom to give it to her. As I was walking to her cage I was calling her name. Bubbles…. Bubbles…. why was Bubbles still sleeping!? Bubbles never sleeps when Mummy is calling her name.
I called out BF#1′s name, threw the bread at him and ran out of the room. “You give this to her, I think she is dead”. And she was…… My poor little Bubbles had passed away in her sleep at only 5 months old. She died with a very cute little ratty smile on her face. She looked so peaceful.

RIP Bubbles
No more little little animals for me. Bubbles death made me quite upset. I cried a lot on Saturday morning. The worlds a cruel place when you only get to spend 5 months with your pet….
Zara, Tits, BF#1 and I buried Bubbles on Sunday (with her shot glass and handcuffs – she was one crazy partying rat!).
There was an empty seat in our house and it HAD to be filled. I wanted a kitten, I NEEDED a kitten.
After 4 Pet shop visits and 4hrs of “thinking” I walked out with a Puppy.
Please welcome Xena to Seal Town

Xena is a Jack Russel cross Kelpie (yes, strange). Her sister had been sold that morning and she was all alone in her little glass bedroom – I’m a sucker – Oh yes I am a sucker. Thankfully BF#1 was also a sucker after 4hrs of my constant “But she is all alone!!!!!” banter.
Hercules….. Well Hercules isn’t happy about it…… But he will learn to love her! I give him a week before he won’t leave her alone!

Admission to Seal Town is now $5 per person – Come today! You can see 3 Cats, 2 Dogs and 2 Bunny Rabbits
[This is my first ever entry into a Blog This challenge!]
RIP Bubbles. Poor thing!!
Xena is adorable!!! I want one!
ohhh, sorry to hear about Bubbles but your latest purchase is adorable.

So sorry about Bubbles – a loss is always so hard to cope with.
Poor Hercules too, he looks so depressed. I am sure they will love each other very soon.
I have been reading your blog for ages now and I have always wanted to know is Hercules a Westie?
